The chiropractic approach to health care emphasizes the patient’s overall health and wellness. Chiropractors provide natural, drugless, nonsurgical health treatments, relying on the body’s inherent (innate) healing abilities. Chiropractors also recognize that many factors affect health including exercise, diet, rest, environment, stress and heredity.
Chiropractors receive recognized degrees from specialized training programs, including a general education in human physiology, anatomy, biology, and pathology with a primary focus on the spinal column and the nervous system.
